Hunan Shiyou Electric Co., Ltd was founded by Xiangtan Shitong Electric Co., Ltd and Holland Unitron Group in April 2011. It is one of the companies that develop and manufacture the electrical control system of large-scale wind turbines in China. It is located in Xiangtan National High-tech Zone with a registered capital of 65.8 million yuan. In October 2013, the company was restructured and changed to a joint-stock company. It was recognized as a high-tech enterprise in 2013, and a provincial enterprise technology center in 2015. On June 27, 2014, it was successfully listed in the national share transfer system of New Third Board.

The company has the qualifications of national high-tech enterprise, provincial enterprise technology center and French Bureau Veritas three-in-one system, and it is a "little giant" enterprise specialized in Hunan Province and a star private enterprise with high quality development in Xiangtan City. The scientific research team is strong, with more than 50 R&D technicians such as doctors and masters, and has obtained more than 100 intellectual property rights, including 15 invention patents.
